Year 5’s Trip to York!

In the first half of Autumn term, Year 5 went to York to further enhance their learning on the local study of York.

We had workshops about the different settlements in York from the Anglo-Saxons to the Normans. We looked at Roman, Viking, Anglo-Saxon and Norman artefacts.

We also had at tour of the York Minster, walked through the Shambles and saw the Roman column!

Year 5 had a fantastic day and showed superb behaviour!
