Meet the Teacher
Hello and welcome to Reception! My name is Miss Farndell and I am so excited to have the pleasure of teaching your child this year. I have a degree in Early Years Education and have been teaching in Early Years for 10 years. In my spare time I enjoy visiting new places and going on long walks with my dog Lola. She is a 4 year old black labrador.
Reception is such a special time where each day offers new exciting opportunities to learn, flourish and grow. Providing a warm and welcoming classroom where every child is celebrated, positive relationships can grow, and a nurturing environment that inspires childrens curiosity to explore and thrive is essential to me. In Early Years, we will be taking those first steps in learning to read, write, converse, build friendships, develop independence and discover the awe and wonder of the world around us.
