Welcome to year 4! My name is Miss Rowbottom and I am delighted to be your child’s teacher this year.
A little bit about me: I have taught at Hillside for the last 2 years and am happy to be a member of the school’s fantastic team. My favourite food is either lasagne or Shepherd’s pie. A fun fact about me is I love hiking, and have recently completed the Yorkshire Three Peaks challenge in 11 hours and 58 minutes. I am also collecting the 214 mountains in the Lake District (currently I have 88/214 climbed).
Year 4 is an exciting year, bringing new adventures and opportunities. I aim to create a positive, happy and supportive learning environment where all children can thrive, asking questions and building their curiosity along the way.
In year 4 we work hard but have a lot of fun along the way, building children’s independence, problem solving and resilience as the year progresses. I am looking forward to working with you all as we all grow together throughout year 4!
